“El amor no es mirarse el uno al otro, es mirar juntos en la misma dirección.”
And that’s how I can describe my next great couple. Ewelina and Jose not only look at each other but also in the same direction. She is Polish and he is Spanish. They met at a dance course. And so they were joined by salsa and faithful friends. Speaking of friends, I still have these words from their wedding in my head:
Dzień dobry, witamy gości z Polski!
¡Hola!, España, Olé!
Herzlich wilkommen Deutschland!
dobryy denʹ Ukrayina!
buna ziua România!
Will you ask why? Because just so many friends from these 10 different nationalities gathered at their wedding. To celebrate this time together. I am not surprised at all the number of friends because the young people are not only a beautiful couple outside but they also have great hearts inside.
Ewelina and Jose. These two have broken me. All I have are eyes that keep filling up with tears when I think of their ceremony, ears still ringing from the sounds of Jose’s family’s voices, and a huge heart that can’t contain all of the crazy feelings from their day. For once, I have NO WORDS. Just pictures. And a lot of love for the two incredible people who are really, honestly, that much better together.
Thank you guys for laughing with me, trusting me with your memories, and allowing me to spend such an important day with you. Thank you, thank you.
